The label to guarantee the transparency of the supply chain

The new website is online: it’s called joinremo.com, you can read it in just a few minutes and it leaves its mark! After two years of study and hard work REMO is ready to go, thanks to the original idea by Martin Havik and the common effort of Brachi and Process Factory. REMO is a company and a label as well, an innovative track & trace system which guarantees the transparency of the supply chain and the environmental saving of all items of clothing providing them with a true sustainability passport.
Precise information about the origins and history of each product, the exact percentage of recycled fibers it contains, the advantages for environment in terms of saving of water resources, energy and CO2 emissions. Consumers pay always more attention to these themes and companies as well are dedicating increasing time and resources.

Clothes for sale are normally the result of a linear chain. The clever idea of REMO it to gather all the players involved together so as to make this chain circular, thus encouraging suppliers, manufacturers and consumers to behave ethically.
The data we have on the quantity of “rubbish” produced in the so called civilized countries are speak for themselves. But are we sure “rubbish” is the right term? It doesn’t matter how much old is a garment, because it always tells a story and life experiences, it bears a value we shouldn’t waste, but rather reinterpret. This is precisely the meaning of recyclement, as long as the process is always oriented to maximum transparency.

The solution is REMO – a movement more than a simple brand, aimed at diffusing the culture of recyclement and sustainability. Sewn on clothing labels, printed on price labels or directly impressed on the fabric with electronic ink, integrated in the product by means of systems conceived depending on the companies’ special requirements, REMO is a vector of personalized information on the authenticity of the recycled content that you can read, download and share through the main mobile devices. It’s a brand within and beyond the brand because it not just certificates the ethic content of clothes and manufacturers, but also triggers an effect of positive contagion that brings benefits to everyone, without exceptions.
